Run,

Run, roll, and reverse overlap are all terms for different types of putts. A run putt is when the ball is hit hard and rolls a long distance. A roll putt is when the ball is hit softly and rolls a short distance. A reverse overlap putt is when the ball is hit with the back of the putter, causing it to roll in a different direction than it would with a normal putt.
